Calling all pro-life elected officials, candidates, and grassroots activists. In this three-hour seminar, United for Life Director John Michener will summarize the political reality of abortion in Florida, then discuss the moral and constitutional mandate for the Right to life and equal protection of the laws for our preborn neighbors, and finally present a strategic plan for Governor Ron DeSantis to immediately abolish child-sacrifice by abortion in Florida.
Can you defend life graciously, or do you sometimes speak rashly and give offense? Do you assume all those who call themselves Christians are fully opposed to legal abortion? In a world full of doubt and tough questions about abortion, we must prepare ourselves to “know how we ought to answer each person” (Col. 4:6).
With presentation, explanation and role-playing practice, this session will train participants to:
• Create gracious and persuasive conversation about abortion in church gatherings, with outsiders, and on social media.
• Make a biblical, moral, biological, and philosophical case for life.
• Answer the toughest arguments of abortion advocates such as, “It’s my body, so it’s my choice” and “I know abortion is wrong, but we can’t tell other people what to do.”
• Share their faith in every conversation about abortion.
You will leave this event with a greater ability to understand and counter all the arguments supporting abortion.
